How It All Started
Our life was blessed six years ago with our beloved dog Duffy, a wire fox terrier. Duffy came to us as a rescue dog. If you know anything about the terrier breed they can be quite a handful. They have a tendency to bark and have a lot of energy. Such is the case with our dog. The previous owner did not treat him well. He was beaten for his barking and left outside in the cold and snow in the winter and sun in the summer to be destined to be an outside dog. My neighbor at the time was the head of the Terrier Rescue Group in Portland, Oregon and told me about this poor little dog. Having never been a dog owner before I had this "calling" to rescue him. Needless to say I fell in love and found that he touched my heart in ways I never thought possible. He was only two at the time, but also a terrier with "issues". Through lots of patience and training and six years later I am happy to report that Duffy is living a wonderful life! He is one pampered pooch!
I make sure to feed him the best possible diet and that includes his treats. I would have fun baking for him. Once the word got out, other friends dogs wanted to sample some of the treats that I would make. Word quickly spread and my friends and family encouraged me to use my culinary background and open a bakery just for dogs.
I thought that they were crazy but here we are . . . . . . We would love to bake for your pampered pooch and spoil him just like our Duffy.
